Kujang is a heritage and heirloom of Sundanese Culture, indigineous inhabitans of western part of Java Island in nowadays Indonesia. Kujang was the pride of Sundanese Warriors and Champions in the past, owned by kings, princes, nobles and soldiers.
Within Kujang's unique shape, it has high values and philosophies, it represents ethics, estethics, nobility, statemanship, cosmology, diplomacy, identity, dignity, compasion, and humanity of Sundanese High Culture.
Now, we share and celebrate this beautiful heritage of our ancestor with our brothers and friends from Turkey.
In World Ethnosport Confederation forum, 17-18 February 2018, Antalya, Turkey, Indonesian Horseback Archery Sport Association or KPBI's President Mr. Alda F. Amtha (Alda Amtha) met Mr. Necmettin Bilal Erdogan, son of Republic of Turkey's President, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and gave The Kujang as the symbol of friendship between two cultures, between two countries which shares many values, commonalities and rejoice solidarity throughout history.
